Sailing Riddim – Street Rockaz Family

A stripped-down recut of the Paragons’ “Riding On a High and Windy Day” gives Sailing Riddim its easy sway, and Street Rockaz Family keep it tight with just two cuts: Pinchers’ “Bo Yah” and Stranjah Miller’s title tune. Pinchers comes in warm and seasoned, while Stranjah Miller rides the groove with a cleaner, more meditative tone, so the pair feel like they’re speaking the same language over the same rocking pulse. It’s the kind of one-riddim idea that leans on feel more than volume, and that old-school foundation gives the whole thing a nice lift, especially on the 22 November 2019 digital drop.
