Meditation Riddim – Shali Music

Sliding in with just three cuts, Meditation Riddim keeps the focus tight: Anthony Cruz’s “Rumours And Lies” and Capleton’s “No Fold Hand” are the two vocal pieces here, with Capleton bringing the tougher edge while Cruz leans into the softer, more reflective side of the rhythm. Shali Music keeps the arrangement spare and unhurried, so the production has room to breathe rather than crowd the songs, and that gives the one-riddim set a very clean, almost meditative pull of its own. It’s a 2007 reggae release, and the tracklist closes with the instrumental version of Meditation Riddim itself, leaving the rhythm to stand on its own after the vocals.
