Madskull Riddim – Jugglerz Records

Jugglerz Records were already well past the local-sound-system stage by the time Madskull Riddim landed in 2014. The Konstanz crew had built a name in European dancehall through parties, clashes, and a steady stream of releases, then turned that momentum into a label operation with a taste for cross-border collabs. Madskull sits neatly in that catalogue: a digital dancehall set with enough bass pressure for the club, but enough personality to separate each cut.

The riddim moves with a clipped, modern bounce rather than a heavy roots drag, carrying sharp drums, rubbery low end, and a bright, synthetic edge that gives the singers room to ride it differently. Million Stylez opens things up with “Jellyfish, ” bringing his melodic Swedish dancehall style to the pattern. Perfect Giddimani follows with “Dance To This, ” adding his conscious-to-party balance, while Cali P’s “Hook Up” pushes the groove toward a more direct, flirtatious cut. Red Fox and Samira’s “Get Down On It” plays to the riddim’s dancefloor energy, and Miwata’s “Madskull” gives the project a local German link that fits Jugglerz’ own network. Junior Carl’s “Nie Man Dem” rounds out the set with a harder talk-up feel.

What makes the release work is the way it moves between international voices and German-based artists without losing the core pulse. It feels like a riddim made for juggling, not just single plays: each singer finds a different angle, but the production keeps the whole thing locked in one lane.
