Right in the pocket with a rootsy, guitar-led swing, Live Your Life Riddim feels like a proper live-band juggling rather than a cut-and-paste digital exercise. Reggae Unite Records put it together in 2017 with Di Version Band and Sound Guyz handling the music, and the lineup leans heavy on conscious voices like Lutan Fyah, Perfect Giddimani, Jah Marnyah and King Lorenzo. The songs keep circling the same uplift-and-resistance themes, with “Live Your Life” and “Handcart Love” giving the set its strongest pull, while “Wicked Supremacy” and “Keep On Chanting” add a grittier edge. There’s a nice range in the deliveries, from steppers-style pressure to smoother melodic turns, and the closing “Life Your Life Dub” lets the riddim breathe out on its own.
