Lemonade Riddim (2002) – Natchlious Records

Down in the early-2000s reggae shuffle, Natchlious Records cut a neat little six-song set on the Lemonade Riddim, and it feels very much of that moment: compact, voice-forward, and built for straight dancehall rotation. Baby Wayne’s “Warn Him” and Jah Mason’s “Seek Out” give the sequence its sharpest pull, with Danny English and Determine working the same steady groove from different angles, while Lukie D’s “Telling Me” keeps the mood smooth before the version closes things out. Natchlious also appears under the Scarie and J. N. R. Int. credit on the riddim’s key cuts, which fits the kind of hands-on, local production that was keeping Jamaican reggae moving in 2002, right down to the spare little version at the end.
