Indo Overview
In 2013, the Indo Riddim brought together some of reggae’s respected voices. Daweh Congo, known for his roots reggae style and the song "Indo," was a key part of this project. Desmond Foster, who has worked with Swedish reggae and soul acts, contributed "Farmerman Bliss." Natty King, who made waves with his hit "No Guns To Town," added "It'S A Shame" to the riddim. Perfect Giddimani, a Jamaican artist with a Grammy-nominated album "Live My Life Again," delivered "We Are All One." Ras Gabriel, with "Blaze It Up," and Rob Symeon, on "Seems Like," also gave the riddim their own unique voices. The music on Indo Riddim was shaped by a rocksteady flow. This style linked modern artists with classic reggae rhythms, creating a bridge between old and new. The beats were lively and melodic, giving each song a fresh but familiar sound. JAH YOUTHS PRODUCTION was the force behind this project. The label is known for supporting street culture and keeping reggae’s roots alive. Over the years, JAH YOUTHS PRODUCTION has worked with both upcoming and established artists, helping to spread reggae music worldwide. Their careful production made sure that the energy and message of the songs stayed strong. The Indo Riddim’s rocksteady flow is still remembered as a standout cultural release from 2013. Its mix of strong voices and classic reggae vibes made it a favorite for sound systems and fans alike.
