Simple Youths Production keeps Mystic Life Riddim lean and street-level, with seven cuts and no wasted motion: Gage’s “Trust” and Vershon’s “Wul Di Grung” do a lot of the heavy lifting, while Dingi’s “My Block” and Sativa D Black 1’s “Carry On” sharpen the project’s rough-edged, everyday-yard energy. There’s a lived-in feel to the whole thing, the kind of dancehall groove that leaves space for the vocals to carry the attitude without crowding the beat.
