Hungry Riddim – Mc Records

Sizzla’s “Can’t Get Enough” is the cut that pulls Hungry Riddim into focus, with his voice riding MC Records’ 2004 juggling alongside Danny English’s “Guns And Roses, ” General B’s “Unite, ” and Pound Coin’s title track. The rhythm itself has that lean, hungry mid-2000s dancehall feel: tight drums, a clipped bassline, and just enough space for the vocals to do the work.
