Supa Hype Music used Styling Gel Riddim as a fast-moving dancehall juggling in August 2021, and it sits neatly inside the producer’s wider run of slick, uptown-leaning rhythm projects. Supa Hype, born Stephen Davis, came up through sound system culture before moving into producing, and his name has long carried weight as both selector and label figure. This release fits that lane: bright, loud, and built for the dance rather than the slow-burn corner.

The riddim pulls a busy, party-first pulse, with sharp drum programming, thick bass, and plenty of room for DJ turns and chant-like hooks. Elephant Man brings his usual high-voltage energy on “Party Banga, ” which feels tailor-made for the biggest forward in the set. T. O. K. link with Richie Loop on “Bounce (Kill It), ” a cut that plays to their call-and-response strength and keeps the momentum jumping. Munga Honorable’s “Swaaga Wid Di Badness” pushes the project into rougher street territory, while Digital Sham’s title track gives the riddim its identity in plain form.
