Apt 19 Music’s Gyalla Park Riddim sits in that 2016 soca lane where the emphasis is on waistline-ready bounce and party chatter, with the label leaning into a tight, club-friendly groove rather than anything too ornate. Kalado’s “Ruff Ride, ” Macka Diamond’s “Wine and Dip, ” QQ’s “Kushi Wine, ” and Spice’s “Sight and Wine” give it the biggest pull, each cutting straight to the wine-up vibe with sharp hooks and plenty of room for dancers. RDX and Razor B push the energy a little harder on “Position” and “Fix Up, ” while the project keeps the focus on movement over melody.
