Pink Riddim – Apt 19 Music / Rekit Ralf

Pink Riddim arrived in 2020 as the first major statement from Delomar’s Rekit Ralf Music, working in tandem with Apt 19 Music. Delomar, best known as one half of RDX, has spent years around the most radio-friendly side of modern dancehall, and this project keeps that party-forward instinct while flipping the frame toward an all-female juggling. The rhythm has a bright, cheeky bounce with a hard dancehall backbone, made for quick-fire riding rather than slow buildup, and the title alone sets the tone for a set that is playful, flirty and openly feminine.

The cuts that give it shape are Macka Diamond’s Pink Pearl, Pamputtae’s Hook, Lisa Hyper’s Smile, Kim Weirdo’s Beat It Up, D’Angel’s Talk Bout, Sasique’s Move and Yanique Curvy Diva’s Say Anything. Macka Diamond brings veteran swagger and a loud, confident singjay attack; Pamputtae stays in her raw, streetwise lane; Lisa Hyper brings sharp-edged energy; and Yanique Curvy Diva adds the social-media-era charisma that has kept her visible in dancehall and entertainment circles. Kim Weirdo and Sasique push the riddim deeper into explicit bashment territory, giving the project a tougher club edge.

The release also drew attention because Delomar framed it as a women-led answer to recent dancehall juggling trends, with the first wave landing as a tightly controlled showcase rather than an open-ended compilation. That curation gives Pink Riddim its identity: a dancehall riddim built for female voices, with enough attitude in the production to make every entry feel competitive.
