Bassrunner Productions kept the 2007 Glorious Riddim tight and vocal-led, with five cuts that lean on rootsy, uplifting singjay energy rather than flashy studio tricks. Jah Mason’s “Glorious Morning” and Lutan Fyah’s “Can’t Stop The Fire” sit at the heart of it, while Natty King’s “Praises” and Spectacular’s “Dem Getta Beaten” keep the message conscious and direct. Geoffrey Star’s “Free Up Your Mind” adds a lighter touch, and the sequencing moves like a straight-ahead showcase rather than a sprawling compilation. The release was issued as a five-track reggae riddim set, all from Bassrunner Productions.
