GET RICH RIDDIM produced by LIBERTY CORNER 2018

Back in 2018, one tape was at the heart of every yard session: the Get Rich Riddim. This dancehall project started with a simple idea—a street anthem base that would get every party moving. The riddim was built in a small but busy studio, where the mixing board king shaped the sound with steady hands and sharp ears. Each layer of the beat was carefully balanced, making sure the bass hit hard and the melodies kept people dancing. The producer behind it all was LIBERTY CORNER, known for his work with up-and-coming dancehall acts and for pushing new sounds into the scene. His label had already made a mark with several local hits, and the Get Rich Riddim only added to his reputation. LIBERTY CORNER was always about energy and movement, making sure every song could light up a dance. The artists brought their own fire. Screech Dan and B Fortune both dropped “Best Party, ” a track that became a must-play at every session. Screech Dan is known for his raw delivery and has worked with legends across the dancehall world. Melo Lawla and Neeko Fle teamed up on “Paseroo, ” a tune that had a catchy hook everyone could sing along to. Nardo Ranks, famous for his early 90s hit “Dem a Bleach, ” added “Pum Pum” to the mix, bringing his veteran style to the riddim. Looking back, the street anthem base of Get Rich Riddim captured the true spirit of 2018—raw, energetic, and unforgettable.
