Veinless Records kept it lean in 2018, pairing only five tracks with four names, so there’s no clutter to hide behind: Pacco’s “Trust No Friend” sets the tone with a wary edge, Pattex answers with the more flirtatious “Bounce It Pon Me, ” and Poptain’s “Ride Pan Jak” pushes the riddim a little harder. The final stretch belongs to Magical, who turns up twice and gives the project its most memorable moments; “Friends N Family” has the warmer, more reflective angle, while “Rudo” closes things with the sharpest pull.
