Back in 2018, when French reggae was still leaning hard on veteran voices and culture-minded one-riddim projects, 7 Seals Records lined up a tribute built around the Forward In The Arena groove and its nod to the old Death In The Arena idea. Lone Ranger opens the set with the title cut, while Nuttea teaming with Tiwony on Plus Qu’Ils Ne Veulent and King Daddy Yod on Le Chat Pa Là give the compilation some real weight; the production keeps a crisp roots pulse with enough room for the French-language lyrics to breathe. Straika D, Difanga and Saï Saï add more of that seasoned, front-line energy, and the release was put out on June 15, 2018 with 13 tracks in all.
