Fighta Jet Riddim – Elite Generation

Elite Generation’s Fighta Jet Riddim came out in early 2017 with a tight nine-track dancehall run that keeps the pressure on without wasting a second, and Chronic Law’s “Guns Out” is the first cut that really locks in the tone before Dayno and Shaqstar’s “Murder Dem” pushes the grit a step further. The riddim has that hard, tense street pulse you’d expect from the title, with each artist riding the same skeletal backdrop a little differently: Qpidnation on “Brawlin, ” FS linking with Sparko Bling on “We Run Di Place, ” and Bully Frass on “Line Off” all add their own edge. It also marked an early feature for Shaqstar, whose appearance here helped set him on a busier run in the years after. The release was issued by Elite Generation Records on February 3, 2017, and runs nine songs long.
