Ego Riddim – Wildout Records

Ego Riddim leans into a sharp, modern dancehall feel, all clean percussion and a tough little bounce that leaves room for the vocals to cut through. Wildout Records keeps the project lean with just four tracks, and that focus suits the set well: D’Judge’s “Man Evil” brings the grit, Eyesus turns in the punchy “Cup, ” and Iyara’s “Mine Yuh Mouth” has the kind of sly, hard-edged energy that locks onto the rhythm fast. Versi and Krushal’s “Elevate” rounds it out with a slightly smoother push, giving the riddim a bit more lift without softening the edges.
