Di Slamm Overview

The creation of Di Slamm Riddim began at Lynsam Entertainment’s studio, where the focus was on building a classic reggae sound with a fresh energy. Lynsam Entertainment has been active in reggae production, known for previous releases like their 2017 single “Lynsam Reggae Riddim.” The label’s approach has always centered on bringing together different voices to capture the spirit of collaboration. For Di Slamm Riddim, the team started with strong basslines and warm instrumental tones, setting a steady foundation. From there, invitations went out to some of the scene’s notable talents. Each artist brought their unique style to the riddim, layering their vocals and messages. Diffrent contributed "Brooklyn Freestyle," blending modern lyrics with foundation reggae rhythms. Dub Poet Anton added "Buddy," using his signature spoken word style that has earned him respect in the reggae poetry circuit. Yah Uneek’s "Just My Imagination" stands out for its smooth delivery, reflecting his history of soulful performances. Jose Angel recorded "Levantense," a track with uplifting energy. Simone G delivered "Gunman," showcasing her dynamic range; she is known for her 2018 single "Hold Me," which received notable airplay in the Caribbean. The riddim found early support from sound systems, becoming a regular feature in dances and festivals. Its mix of artists and styles helped it travel quickly across reggae circles. Di Slamm Riddim shows the power of collaboration, as each artist’s contribution adds to the whole.

IMPORTANT

Promotional riddims or mixtapes are generally meant to increase streaming and sales of a production, directly benefiting the Copyright holder(s) from onset of official release of their material. Promos posted on this website are not necessarily always full. Same principle applies to quality.

Promos add the benefit of increasing exposure of otherwise unknown or new production labels, artists, producers, DJs, and/or those that have a low reach on a global scale.

A 72 hour to 30 day period has shown to positively drive this particular music industry over the last 5+ years of our operations.

When a promo expires, most links are removed from the website within 30 days. Through recent partnerships, streaming and download links for Apple Music and Spotify are always provided when available. Other platforms will be added soon.
