Crew Riddim (2015) – Bassline Rock

Richie Loop gives Crew Riddim its sharpest hook on “Island Girl (Refix), ” and that opening sets the tone for the rest of Bassline Rock’s 2015 dancehall set: rough, crew-centric, and geared for pull-up energy. The lineup leans into that lane with Demo Page’s money pressure tune, Di Aprentice’s “Bad Like We, ” Froggy Maddsquad’s “Mobay Mi Born N Grow, ” and Red Man’s “Bad Inna Crew, ” while the instrumental keeps the whole thing moving with a stripped, heavy bassline and tight drum pattern that sits somewhere between street dance pull and radio-ready bounce.
