“Carry Beyond” keeps its eyes on uplift and roots consciousness, with Giddimani Records lining up a compact six-song set that first surfaced in spring 2019. The title cut from Lutan Fyah and Perfect Giddimani sets the tone early, then Black Prophet’s “Zion Calling, ” Teacha Dee’s “Too Late, ” and Young Shanty’s “Blessings” keep the message firm and devotional without turning the whole thing monochrome.
