Caribbean Gal Riddim – Juss Buss Production 2010
Caribbean Gal Overview
In 2010, the Caribbean Gal Riddim dropped and quickly became a street anthem in Jamaica. This dancehall mix stood out because of its strong, horn-driven beat. DJs loved to play it at parties and street dances, and even today, you can hear it in dancehall sessions. The riddim brought together some of the biggest names in the scene, each adding their own style. Agent Sasco, known for his sharp lyrics, gave us “She's Gone.” Around this time, Agent Sasco (also known as Assassin) was building his reputation, and a few years later, he would feature on Kanye West's “I'm In It.” Beenie Man, one of dancehall’s legends and a Grammy Award winner, came with “Come From.” Beenie Man’s long career and global hits like “Who Am I” made his voice instantly recognizable on the riddim. Busy Signal, famous for songs like “Stay So” and his energetic flow, added “Move On.” Charly Black, who would later score a massive international hit with “Gyal You A Party Animal,” gave us “Cool And Deadly Wine.” B.V. & Drastic teamed up for “Tell Dem Shoo,” showing the mix’s range. Other artists on the riddim included J.
