2007 was still deep in the era when dancehall riddims were leaning hard into stark, gunman-ready arrangements, and Blood Spill fits that mood with a tight three-song run from G-Loc and Vybz Kartel. The set is small, but it keeps the focus on the rhythm itself: a cold, skeletal knock under the vocals, with the kind of clipped percussion and heavy low end that leaves plenty of room for patois-heavy threat talk. Kartel’s “Wen Di Teacha Say” is the obvious anchor, while “No Fraid Ah Dem” with Craig Dennis pushes the same militant energy a step further.
