Black Henny Riddim came through in late 2019 from Sky Bad Musiq, a name that had already been moving through dancehall with a run of contemporary riddims and digital releases. This one sits in that sharp, street-ready lane: 101 BPM, crisp drums, a dark bassline, and enough space in the instrumentation for fast talking, braggadocious hooks, and clipped melodies to cut through cleanly.

The project was issued as a 10-song set on November 15, 2019, with the instrumental included, and it lands as a proper juggling rather than a one-off single package. Squash opens the session with Fi True, bringing his usual hard-edged certainty, while Tommy Lee Sparta’s Vanilla adds a colder, more menacing tone. Teejay’s Badmind and Jealousy pushes the tension into the everyday pressures and envy that have long fueled his writing, and Daddy1’s Bro Gad gives the riddim one of its biggest cultural touchpoints, turning a slang-heavy anthem into a wider dancehall moment.
