Lost Soul Riddim (2021) – Skybad Musiq

Lost Soul Riddim comes across with that brooding, late-night dancehall pressure Sky Bad Musiq has been putting out around this period, all grim bass and sharp-edged melodies rather than anything glossy. It landed in February 2021 as an eight-song set, with clean and raw versions split across the same core cuts, and that structure gives the whole thing a very DJ-friendly, road-ready feel. Squash’s “Cold” is the one that hits first, while Nyklyne’s “Bonnie and Klyne” and AceGawd’s “Way Out” keep the energy clipped and direct.
