Bittersweet Overview
Carnival 2019 brought a wave of energy with the Bittersweet Riddim, a standout soca track base that powered many parade sets. Created by Stadic Studio Productions, known for crafting hits across the Caribbean, this riddim became the heartbeat of the festival. Fans remember Naniola’s “Pocket” as a crowd favorite. Naniola, who has made her mark in Afrobeats with the hit “Maradona,” brought her unique sound to soca, adding an international twist to the parade. Preedy’s “I Tried” also stood out.
