Bad Dawgs Riddim – Bena Production

Bad Dawgs came in as a tight, five-cut dancehall juggling with a hard, synth-heavy edge, the kind of forward-leaning Bena Production move that kept the riddim moving rather than overcrowded. Ding Dong’s “Tun It Up A Notch” is the obvious jolt here, but Kalado’s “Rise Di Lim” and Versatile’s “Bad Any Weh” give the project its harder street pulse, while Denno and Strent keep the energy locked in. Bena had already been building a name around sharp, modern dancehall production by this point, and this 2014 set feels like a cleaner, more focused step after his earlier work with acts like Kalado and Strent.
