Shatta Wale
Born 17 October 1984, in Accra Ghana Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. is a Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist. Formerly known as Bandana, Shatta Wale also dabbles in acting having appeared in films like Never Say Never, Shattered Lives and The Trial of Shatta Wale. Having found success in Ghana and winning Artiste of The Year in 2014 at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Wale received global acclaim after collaborations with Beyonce and Tarrus Riley. His other major hits include Moko Hoo, Dancehall King and Telephone Number.
Shatta Wale has four studio albums which include After The Storm, Cloud 9, Reign and Wonder Boy. With a growing international audience, Wale continues to make quality music with international artists and is one to pay close attention to in the foreseeable future.
