Shaquelle Clarke was born on 1 September 1996 in Sterling Castle Heights, St Andrews, Jamaica. He attended Calaba school and he was obsessed with music. Clarke claims that he had a music calling at the age of 5. As he was growing up, he drew inspiration from listening to artist5s like Buju Banton, Lieutenant Stitchie and Papa San. In 2012, he took interest in a talent search event which was spearheaded by Popcaan every Wednesday which was dubbed ‘Clash Wednesday’ at Young Vybz Studio. Popcaan saw something special in the young talent and he decided to take a gamble with him. One of his most famous hits to date is “Celebration” which features Jah Vinci. In 2017 he released the EP “Nuh Badda” with Bakersteez. Clarke joined Popcaan and Jafrass in “Unruly Camp” in 2016. In 2018 Clarke released his debut single titled “Reflex”. Some of his other singles include “Tint”, ‘Problem”, “Billions” featuring Popcaan, “Family Fi Life”, “Nah Worry”, “Top Shelf” and “Everybody Feel Good” featuring Jah Vinvi. In 2019 Clarke released a single “Hail” which was produced by Dunovell Production. His other release was “New Gyal Alert” which was produced by Russ Buss of Constanheiro Music on the “Sleep Riddim”.
