Masicka

Javaun Fearon, born 4 December 1993, in Portmore, Jamaica, is a DJ, dancehall artist, rapper, singer, and lyricist. Masicka has been in the dancehall scene since he was a teenager and has gradually made a name for himself together with his Genahsyde crew. Some of his early work includes featuring on the album Skin To Skin riddim released in 2010 – a 15 track riddim. 2013’s Afterlife Riddim album where Masicka also came through carried legends like Mavado, Konshens and Assasin, just to name a few. In light of such a combination of artists, it’s clear that Masicka is absolutely brilliant with his craft. Rage Riddim album in 2014, proved to be equally on fire seeing as dancehall legend Beenie-Man featured on it too. He has released songs like “Everything Mi Want / To The Top, and ”Top Striker” in recent years. His talent has escalated under the guidance of One Motion Music. “Lose Control” is a club single’, that was co-produced by One Motion Music and Ras-I Musique. Cryptic Riddim in 2018 was an addition to his evergrowing talent in the music industry as a whole. He debuted his brand new song of 2020 on YouTube, titled “Rich”. The song has positive energy and his fans were delighted to receive it. Rich was produced by Armzhouse Records and it was a prelude to Masicka’s upcoming album.
