Bryan Thomas was born on 5 April 1972 in Vere, Clarendon, Jamaica. Thomas was born ninth in a family of 10 children. He began recording in the mid 90’s with famous producers such as Donovan Germain, Bobby Digital and Barry O’Hare. Some of his first singles include “Wake Up”, “Let Me Live”, “Victory”, “El Shadai” and “Let Jah Be Praised”. Thomas did a duet with Buju Banton in “Mother’s Cry” and began to take part in the Buju led Donovan Germain’s Penthouse Tour. A series of singles followed the next year including “Politics”, “21st Century”, “Cry People”and the CD “El Shaddai” which became one of the best reggae records of that year. In 1999, Thomas sang on Morgan Heritage’s Liberation Riddim, the song “Naturality”. He also released the remarkable single “Long Long Time”.
