RazzAttack Muzik keeps this one warm and melodic rather than hard-edged, with a gentle reggae pulse that leaves plenty of room for singers to stretch out. Reggae Island Riddim landed in January 2015 and runs 13 tracks deep, closing with an instrumental from the production house itself. The mix feels designed for easy cruising: relaxed drums, bright guitar skanks, and a clean, polished bed that lets the vocals carry the mood.

The strongest cuts come from artists who know how to turn a lovers-rock setting into something personal. Christopher Martin’s “Fimi Island” fits his smooth, romantic style, while Dexta Daps brings his husky singjay flavor to “Scared To Love. ” Serani’s “Dark Clouds” gives the riddim a heavier emotional turn, and Bugle’s “Did It Again” adds a more reflective edge. Dean Loyal, Deep Jahi, Jordanne Patrice, Kibwe Omari, Lady Rudy, Nature, Ryme Minista, Sharee Elise and TeeJay widen the set with voices that move between devotional reggae, uplift, and relationship talk without breaking the breezy flow.

Sean “Razz” Cousley’s RazzAttack Muzik had already started building a name around well-packaged contemporary riddims and later expanded that reach with high-profile reggae compilations and airport music projects. On Reggae Island Riddim, that ear for accessible, radio-ready reggae is already in place. The project works because it never overcomplicates itself: the rhythm is light on its feet, the hooks are easy to catch, and the lineup gives it enough range to stay interesting across the full run.
