Yaad N Abraad Riddim – Monkey Marc Production

Monkey Marc’s Yaad N Abraad Riddim landed in 2018 on Digikillaz, bringing together Dre Island, 5 Star, Iba MaHr, Aza Lineage, and Earth and the Fullness on a roots reggae set with a clear social edge. Led by Dre Island’s Yaad N Abraad and backed by the instrumental version from Monkey Marc himself, the six-track release leans into conscious lyrics and dubwise production. Monkey Marc wrote, produced, and mixed the project in his solar-powered studio, and the riddim was released on February 16, 2018. It also marked part of his wider Vital Sound run, with the same year continuing to roll out more reggae cuts from the producer.
