Bramma’s “Who Shot Ya” feels like the sharpest entry point into Wrath Of The Gods Riddim, a 2016 Jahvis Crushroad juggling act that keeps its energy on the war-side of dancehall. The title alone tells you the mood, and the set follows through with a tense mix of gun talk, crew talk and outright threat from Abadon, Clymaxx, Flexxx and Innovata, all riding the same hard-edged pattern. Jahvis Crushroad keeps the drums tight and the bass ugly enough to suit Bramma’s clipped delivery, while Clymaxx’s “War Time” pushes that militant angle even further.
