WORK IT OUT RIDDIM produced by DIGITAL B 1998
Work It Out Overview
When the Work It Out Riddim dropped in 1998, reggae fans quickly embraced it. The riddim was soon heard on playlists across Jamaica and beyond, thanks to its uplifting sound and strong lineup of artists. Morgan Heritage opened the release with “Lets Work It Out,” bringing their signature harmonies and positive vibes. The group was already well-known for their hit “Don’t Haffi Dread,” and their presence added weight to the project. Neisha K followed with “Read My Mind,” offering a smooth, heartfelt performance that fit perfectly with the riddim’s mood. Yammi Bolo, respected in reggae circles for songs like “Jah Made Them All,” contributed “Heart Full Of Love.” His soulful style gave the track a warm, spiritual feeling. Dennis Brown, often called the “Crown Prince of Reggae,” delivered “Where Were You.” By 1998, Brown had already left a huge mark on reggae with classics like “Money In My Pocket.” His voice brought depth and experience to the riddim. Digital B, both the producer and the artist behind “Version,” steered the project. Digital B, led by producer Bobby Digital, was known for shaping dancehall and reggae in the 1990s with hits for artists like Sizzla and Shabba Ranks. The label’s sound was crisp and modern, helping this riddim stand out. The dub engineering kept the music clean and powerful, while the Digital B label made sure everything reached fans worldwide.
