Queen Majesty Riddim finds Digital B revisiting a classic sound with a warm, lovers-rock tilt and just enough roots weight to keep it grounded. Bobby Digital’s 2003 cut is a remake of the old Techniques staple, and that history hangs over the whole thing in a good way: you get the familiar melody line, but voiced through a fresher early-2000s reggae lens. Anthony B’s “No Hush” brings some urgency to the set, while Cocoa Tea’s “Can Not Be Real” leans into that sweet, seasoned tone he was doing so well around then. Tenor Saw’s pair of cuts, especially “Roll Call, ” give the riddim a bit of extra lift, and the mix of Norris Man, Lukie D and Benjy Myaz keeps the playlist moving without losing its mellow edge. It’s a concise 11-track run, released in 2003, and one that shows how Digital B could rework an old favorite without sanding off its character.
