Wish List Riddim – Zj Ice Thirty Six Degrees

Wish List Riddim arrived in late 2014 from ZJ Ice and Thirty Six Degrees Records, right in the period when modern dancehall was chasing sharper hooks, cleaner mixes, and tracks that could move between radio and street dance without losing pressure. The set came out with a digital release through 21st Hapilos, and the instrumental sits underneath a run of voicings from some of the era’s most visible names. The riddim itself has that sleek, mid-tempo dancehall bounce: bright synth work, a firm kick pattern, and enough space for the chants and melodies to cut through cleanly.

Alkaline’s Eva Clean is one of the anchors here, especially in both clean and raw forms. I-Octane’s Wifey Material brings a more melodic lover’s angle, while Konshens on Go Go Shake pushes the party side harder. Charly Black’s Nuh Man adds his usual cheeky, crowd-ready energy, and Kalado’s Money Roll In keeps the money-talk theme in the mix.
