The story of the Wild Hornz Riddim began on the island, where the energy of carnival was already building. Fete composer Reckon Drums, known for his work with the popular label Red Boyz, teamed up with Islvnd to craft a fresh sound for the 2024 season. Together, they shaped a riddim that blended classic soca horns with a modern, melodic drive. Reckon Drums, respected for his earlier collaborations with top Caribbean artists, brought his signature touch to the table, while Islvnd handled the musical arrangements that kept the groove moving forward. The riddim soon found its voice through a carefully chosen lineup of artists. Peter Ram, a Barbadian soca star recognized for his hit "Good Morning," delivered "Breakfast Morning Jam," a song that quickly became a morning anthem at fetes across the region. Mr. Blood, another well-known figure in the soca world, energized crowds with "Roll," adding his smooth vocals and years of experience to the collection. Thelia’s "Rum And Soca" brought a celebratory vibe, capturing the spirit of late-night parties. Freshie contributed "Good Girl," while Cherish added "Gi We A Little Wine," each bringing their own style to the project. Jus Smoove rounded out the lineup with "Jus Move," encouraging everyone to keep dancing. From its creation in the studio to its release, the Wild Hornz Riddim powered countless parties and parades.
