War Sick Riddim – Costa Rica Music

A taut, militant dancehall cut with a rough-edged pulse, War Sick Riddim sounds like it was made for warning shots and chest-out vocals rather than easy cruising. Costa Rica Music keeps the arrangement lean and tense, leaving room for B-One’s “Hotter Than Lava” and Leo Ranks’ “Face Aka Polemica” to hit with real bite, while Ekiel and Shaster answer in Spanish with the same hard-nosed energy. The nicest connection here is how the producer’s stripped-back pressure lines up with those defiant, anti-silence lyrics, so the whole thing feels more like a street-side challenge than a glossy juggling. There are only five tracks, but the compact line-up gives it a focused snap, especially when Siervo, Angel Street and Mr. Chino pile into “Ambiciosos” almost as an afterthought.
