2018 dancehall release Want Riddim comes from Mical Teja and keeps the spotlight on just three cuts: Mical Teja’s Want, Olatunji’s Kaya, and Patrice Roberts’ Work 4 It. It was issued as a short, three-song riddim set on 13 October 2018, and it also marked one of Mical Teja’s early self-produced projects after he had already built a reputation behind the boards in the Caribbean scene. Olatunji and Patrice Roberts bring the strongest contrast in the lineup, while the title track gives the riddim its own name and identity.
