Virgo Riddim moves with a brisk, party-ready soca pulse, the kind of compact one-riddim set that leaves no room for fat. MashWorks Family Studio keeps the tracklist tight with Clever’s “Gimme Ah Bly, ” Phragile’s “I Don’t Need You, ” and Nelly X’s “Me Neighba Woman, ” each voice riding the same 2019 instrumental in slightly different ways. Clever leans into the cheekier side of the groove, while Phragile smooths it out a bit, and that contrast gives the riddim a nice bit of motion without losing its bounce.
