Vintage Overview
In 2013, the Vintage Riddim brought a special energy to Caribbean Carnival celebrations. Soca music is a big part of these festivals, and riddims like this one help set the mood for dancing and joy in the streets. With its lively beat, Vintage Riddim quickly became a favorite for “wine and jam” moments during parades. The band leader’s vision played a big role in the sound. Under their guidance, the team worked closely with WIZ RECORDS, a label known for its creative soca productions. WIZ RECORDS has a history of working with both new and established soca artists. Their focus on quality and dance-ready tracks helped Vintage Riddim stand out in the busy 2013 soca season. Several artists made this riddim memorable. 4brass delivered “Jacqueline,” a tune that got many fans moving. Amaju brought “African Jumbie,” adding a unique flavor to the mix. Pupa Leendi’s “We Like It” was another highlight, showing his knack for catchy hooks. Tallpree, famous for his hit “Jab Jab Nation,” joined the lineup, bringing his Grenadian energy. Terror Kid’s “Trouble” rounded out the riddim, giving fans another reason to celebrate.
