Upfull Riddim runs on a lean, punchy dancehall pulse that feels more sharp-edged than lavish, with Stillyet Productions keeping the arrangement stripped back enough for the vocals to bite. Vybz Kartel opens the set with “Quick Quick Quick, ” while Sikka Rymes comes through on “Soldier” with the kind of militant confidence that had DancehallMag tying the song to his Gaza circle and framing it as a statement of intent. Shawn Storm’s “Tell Me” gives the riddim a darker, more reflective turn, and Gaza Tussan’s “Mankind Badmind” keeps the mood rooted in street suspicion and locker-room bravado. It’s a compact four-track drop, but that was very much the moment in late-2019 dancehall: short, voice-driven projects where a tight riddim and a handful of familiar names did the heavy lifting.
