Tropical Lime Riddim came through in early 2019 with a bright, breezy dancehall feel that sits somewhere between island-party bounce and straight street pressure. Block17 Productions and Riley Don Music line up a compact cast here: Ama Joe and Butch open things with the catchy “Just Like That, ” Camar Flava turns up the energy on “Bubble, ” and CR3’s “One More Time” adds a sharper edge, while Vybrid’s “Independent Queen” and Wulf’s “Wild Night Wild Life” widen the mood a little further. The set also includes raw versions for a few cuts, which gives the riddim that extra unpolished club-room feel, and the instrumental closes it out cleanly.
