UP AND LIVE RIDDIM produced by FRESH EAR PRODUCTIONS 2007
Up And Live Overview
FRESH EAR PRODUCTIONS was the label behind the energetic Up And Live Riddim, a bashment release that brought a fresh sound to the dancehall scene in 2007. Known for their creative approach, FRESH EAR PRODUCTIONS has also worked with some of Jamaica’s top artists and helped shape the sound of modern dancehall through both hit singles and popular riddims. The Up And Live Riddim featured a strong lineup of artists. Dangel delivered the fiery track "Blaze," while Elephant Man brought his signature energy with "Boom Boom" and "Pum Pum Pum." Elephant Man, often called the "Energy God," is well known for hits like "Pon De River, Pon De Bank" and for his lively stage performances. Million Stylez contributed "One Truth" to the project. The Swedish-Jamaican artist is recognized internationally, especially for his hit song "Miss Fatty," which gained wide popularity in Europe and beyond. Sanjay teamed up with Karl on "My Thing Talk Fi Me," adding a catchy collaboration to the mix. Sean Paul, one of dancehall’s biggest global stars and a Grammy Award winner, appeared with "Midas Touch," adding even more star power. Other tracks included Sultex Ft. Taz with "Timeless Squad," Taz - Timeless Squad’s "Timeless Squad," and TOK with "Sexy And Ready." The riddim itself was also released as an instrumental version, titled "Up And Live Riddim." This project truly captured the bold spirit and excitement of its era, making it a standout in bashment history.
