Full Draw Riddim – Fresh Ear Productions

Fresh Ear Productions put Full Draw Riddim out in 2006 as a no-frills dancehall juggling with real mid-2000s bite. The label was led by producer Arif Cooper, who had already built a reputation for sharp, radio-ready riddim work, and this one sits comfortably in that run of hard-hitting Fresh Ear productions. The project was also issued through VP’s Riddim Driven series, which helped push the rhythm beyond Jamaica into the wider reggae market.

The riddim itself is brisk, bass-heavy, and tightly syncopated, with a dry drum pattern and enough open space for each deejay to cut through.
