UNITY RIDDIM produced by HEVS RECORDS 2019
Unity Overview
When the Unity Riddim was first created in 2019, it started as a simple idea in the studio. The studio hand worked closely with the team, making sure every beat hit just right. Behind it all was HEVS RECORDS, a label known for pushing new sounds in dancehall. HEVS RECORDS had already made a mark with the “Unity Road Riddim Instrumental,” and their tracks had picked up streams from dancehall fans around the world. The riddim’s energy was clear from the start. In the studio, the basslines and sharp snares came together, building a sound that was perfect for the club. As soon as the first demo played, everyone knew it would get people moving. The studio hand made sure the mix was clean and heavy, ready for sound systems. When it was time for artists to jump on the riddim, a strong lineup stepped forward. Coppelly delivered “Tek Chat,” bringing his signature style. Leanny Frass came in with “Baddest Dawg,” adding a tough, confident edge. Shu Shu, already known for “Rookie,” gave the riddim a fresh vibe. Sicka Me added “Tic A Little,” while Tropixx dropped “Stay Real.” Each artist brought their own flavor, making the riddim stand out even more. From the studio to the dance, Unity Riddim became one of 2019’s bashment highlights. It kept speakers rumbling at sound clashes and parties, showing how a strong riddim and the right voices can move a whole crowd.
