Doctor Ly’s “Gyal Man Ka Pull Up” feels like the sharpest entry point into Bashey Riddim, a lean 2006 dancehall set that keeps its focus on six straight vocal cuts rather than padding things out. The production credit is listed as Various Artists, which gives the whole project a slightly raw, no-frills edge, and that suits the way these songs move: Hayrix’s “Patwon” and Maldone’s “Fayablazing” sit right in the pocket with the same clipped, street-level energy, while Master Magnum and Xp push the riddim toward tougher, more commanding territory.
