Ignite The Spirit Riddim – Jr. Ras Entertainment

Jr. Ras keeps this one tight and personal, with just four cuts carrying the whole idea: Black G’s “Venez Venez Danse” opens the door with a breezy, dance-ready pulse, while Stophira’s “It’s Alright” leans into a sweeter, more reflective groove. The title track from Jr. Ras has that self-made energy you’d expect from a producer stepping up on his own riddim, and Kessy’s “Never Let You Go” rounds it out with a softer edge that keeps the set from getting too heavy. It’s a small 2021 reggae project, only 15 minutes long, but that stripped-back format suits the material and the lineup, which was clearly meant to spotlight a few Vanuatu voices rather than overload the listener.
