UB40’s Bigga Baggariddim revisits the band’s old collaborative spirit with a modern cast, and the result feels especially natural when House of Shem and Tippa Irie step into the groove. The riddim keeps that classic roots-rock pulse alive, warm and steady rather than overly polished, so the voices can do the talking; BLVK H3RO’s sharper edge cuts through nicely, while Inner Circle lean into the nostalgic side on “Rebel Love. ” It’s the kind of set that nods back to UB40’s 1985 Baggariddim idea without sounding stuck there, and the guest list spreads it across Jamaica, the UK and beyond, right down to the closing run of “Love You Now, ” with Gilly G easing it out.
