Manatee Records rewires the old “Satta Massagana” vibe into a 2021 compilation that runs 18 cuts deep, with a clean instrumental closing the set and voices moving from Winston McAnuff’s “Armageddon” to TeearDropz’s “Wake Up List, ” Don Yute’s “No Stopping Me, ” and Ishmel McAnuff’s family link-up with Winston and Nadia on “Who Build These Guns. ” The riddim keeps that meditative, chant-driven pulse associated with the source material, but the lineup pushes it into a more contemporary sound-system frame, with Spanish-language turns from Fidel Nadal and Kmino Contigo adding extra color. Manatee Records issued it on April 16, 2021, as a full roots reggae project.
